Massage
After a detailed consultation the safest and most suitable massage techniques will be chosen specifically to suit your needs. It may be that you need a massage treatment to target a specific problem area, using deep, stretching stokes or that gentle massage techniques are deemed more appropriate.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle therapy that uses massage, stretching and gentle pressure to specific areas of the feet or hands.  Reflexology is based on the belief that reflex points found on the feet and hands correspond to all organs, glands and structures of the body. This is a calming treatment that has been found to help many conditions.

Including:

  • Stress related problems
  • Sleep problems
  • Fatigue
  • Hormone imbalance, pre-menstrual and menopausal symptoms
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Migraine
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy combines massage with the use of essential oils extracted from petals, roots, bark, seeds, fruit and plants. A blend of essential oils is carefully chosen to suit your individual needs. Essential oils have a whole range of benefits which include, easing levels of stress, anxiety and irritability and can also be helpful in reducing inflammation, pain, nausea, pre-menstrual symptoms, and insomnia.
Acupressure
Acupressure is an ancient therapy which can be traced back thousands of years, it is a safe and gentle therapy similar to acupuncture however, unlike acupuncture gentle pressure is used on specific points rather than needles. This pressure sends signals to the body to promote self-healing and at the same time it is also helpful in reducing pain.
Acupuncture
Sometimes your therapist may think that you may benefit from acupuncture in combination with one of the above therapies. Acupuncture can be helpful in treating a range of symptoms and conditions including, muscular aches and pains, anxiety, stress, digestive problems and insomnia. The mechanics of acupuncture are largely understood to be neurophysiological, working on a biochemical level, targeting multiple pathways, one of which includes the body to release natural substances such as pain relieving endorphins. Very fine sterile needles are used on selected points and are left in place for up to 30 minutes.
Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture is a therapy where fine needles are inserted into specific parts of the ear. The outer ear has a prolific nerve supply that can directly influence the body’s response to stress, releasing natural “feel good” chemicals in the body. This therapy can help reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flushes, aid relaxation, and reduce anxiety, tension and insomnia.

Your initial treatment will include an in depth consultation – This appointment may last up to 75 minutes. Subsequent treatments – 60 minutes.
